Sunset Mango Raspberry Lassi

Love mangos? Love smoothies? Ever get mango lassi cravings? Then this post is dedicated to you! I am crazy for Indian food and mango lassi is just the dreamiest, most refreshing yogurt drink ever. Perfect for breakfast, afternoon pick-me-up, or a dessert.
I decided to put my own little twist on it the traditional lassi, adding in some raspberries and rose water (another one of my favorite things).
Delicious? Nutritious? Gorgeous? Oh yes.

My husband and I enjoyed these on our porch at sunset, while our kitty, Luna, feasted on a nearby garden of cat grass (her favorite treat). We were a happy crew.
Enjoy!

Mango Raspberry Lassi
serves 3

1 large mango, peeled and cubed {about 2 cups}
1/2 cup frozen raspberries
1 cup plain yogurt {I used 2% Greek}
3/4 cup milk {I used unsweetened almond milk, cause that's what we drink}
1/4 teaspoon cardamom, ground
1/2 to 1 teaspoon rose water
2 1/2 tablespoons honey
large handful of ice cubes

Place all ingredients in a blender and puree. Add ice cubes a few at a time and process.
Pour into your favorite glasses and serve.

  1. That looks soooooo good! And you could totally adultify it by adding a booze of some sort, right? Perfect for hot summertime evenings!
